Scite Told Me Whether a Study Supports or Contradicts the Claim
The support-or-contrast label is the feature. The corpus is smaller than a full search.
Before citing a finding, I ran it through Scite. It showed which papers support it and which contradict it -- including one retraction I'd have missed.
Caveat: its corpus is smaller than a full database search, so a clean Scite result isn't proof. I use it for triage, then confirm in the primary source.
The support-or-contrast label changed how I write -- I now quote the contradictory paper too, not just the friendly one.
Use Scite to check a claim fast. For a real literature review, pair it with a broader search.
