The Midjourney 'No Editor' Tax Is Why I Bounce Images Out
Midjourney still makes the most painterly images I've seen from a prompt, and I'm not leaving it for that reason alone.

But there is no native editor, you live in Discord, and the UX fights you at every turn. The hundred steps around the final frame are where it loses to everything else.
So my workflow now is generate in Midjourney, then immediately move the image into Leonardo or Canva to crop, place, and fix text. The quality stays; the friction leaves.
People compare image models like it's about the final frame. For production it's about the steps around the frame, and that's where Midjourney lags.
Keep the model that makes the prettiest output. Just be honest about what it costs you in time, and stop pretending the Discord is a workspace.
